Barry B Longyear puts a lot of thought and energy into bringing his characters alive. Enemy Mine (the author's cut) is certainly the centerpiece of this book, probably a lot more entertaining than the movie. It begins with fragments of the Drac Talman, including "The Myth of Aakva," "The Story of Uhe," and much of "The Story of Shizumaat."
